Public Access/Public Transport

There are excellent transport services in Carlow with the train & bus station just a short walk from Carlow College, St. Patrick’s, operating multiple services daily. This makes the commute to Carlow easy and hassle free and gives students plenty of flexibility getting to and from the college! The central location of the college also means that students can easily access Carlow Town on foot in minutes. We couldn’t be better placed!

Carlow College, St. Patrick’s is at the heart of Carlow’s Cultural Quarter with it’s rich cultural heritage. Our students can engage in a host of cultural activities on campus with the ‘Visual’ Arts Centre & George Bernard Shaw Theatre next door along with The Carlow Arts Festival, Culture Night & the Carlow Art Collection which are all held on the college grounds. Off campus, you’ll find Music, Arts, Museums and a host of entertainment activities to keep you busy.
