Carlow College offers on-campus accommodation to learners completing the Irish Experience programme. Accommodation is available at Lennon House, situated within a short distance from the main College building and within easy walking distance of Carlow town centre. In addition to housing during the academic term, Lennon House is also available for short-term summer groups.
Originally built in the 1950s, Lennon House has recently undergone significant refurbishment including preservation of the parquet wooden floors and a modernisation of apartment layouts. Lennon House is comprised of seven apartments: Glendalough, St. Mullins, Leighlin, Killeshin and Brownshill.
Features of Lennon House include both faculty apartments and student apartments. Each student apartment include three single/double bedrooms as well as self-catering kitchens and bathroom facilities. Each bedroom is fitted with a single bed, beside table and lamp, study desk and chair, armchair, bookshelf, closet and sink.
Kitchens are fully fitted and contain cabinet storage, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, hob, sink and dishes/cutlery. In accordance with Irish law Lennon House is a smoke-free facility.

Lennon House is conveniently located in the centre of Carlow Town with ease of access to buses, trains, supermarket/shopping, bank, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, cinema and theatre. Also conveniently located, within a 5 minute walk, is a leisure centre with a swimming pool and gym where learner discounts available on a short-term basis. In fact, the campus invites a sense of community where young and old enjoy the spacious grounds for picnics, athletics and visits to the Visual and Performing Arts Centre with an adjoining restaurant.
