Dr Jude Lal Fernando is Assistant Professor in Intercultural Theology and Interreligious Studies at Trinity College Dublin. He has taught as a part-time lecturer at Carlow College since 2007, taking modules on world religions; primal traditions; interfaith dialogue; religion, conflict and peace. Among his publications are A paradigm for a peace movement: Thich Nhat Hanh and Martin Luther King Jr (Dublin, 2007) and Religion, conflict and peace in Sri Lanka: The Politics of Interpretations of Nationhood (Berlin, 2013).
His primary research interests are in religion, peace and conflict.
