Welcome to Carlow College or St. Patricks as it is known in the Carlow area. If you are a prospective student you are doubly welcome to our website.

Carlow College is situated on a pleasant campus in the centre of Carlow Town. Since its foundation in 1782 the college has educated thousands of students, among whom there were poets, writers, teachers, priests, politicians, lawyers, artists and journalists, people who have made an important contribution to society, at home and abroad. In recent years Carlow has developed a range of new courses in Humanities and Social Studies. Our students come from all over Ireland, attracted by our academic reputation, our mid-town location, our student-friendly ethos and the lively social environment which Carlow town offers.

If you come to Carlow you will find a welcoming student body, dedicated lecturers and caring support services. If you are prepared to work reasonably hard you will do very well and you will enjoy the experience of being a Carlovian.
