Computer Facilities

At Carlow College, we consider IT skills as essential in today’s work environment and are pleased to offer our students the opportunity to acquire such skills. At present, the college offers a networked computer room, offering a range of networked and local applications to all students including, word processing, spreadsheets and database management, internet and e-mail.

The college runs optional computer classes for students who are not familiar with information technology. These students are taught, free of charge, the essentials of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Classes are advertised in the library, computer room and on the student notice boards.
