Carlow College enjoys the very great privilege of housing the Carlow Art Collection.
This is a permanent public collection of art held in trust for the people of Carlow and its visitors.
This is a voluntary initiative which grew out of the high energies of Eigse - Carlow Arts Festival.
Set up in 1992, the collection has been surrounded by goodwill and generosity and has grown steadily over the years.
Today, Carlow has a collection to be proud of - one of international importance which reflects the high standards achieved by Eigse Visual Arts since 1992.
