Non-Standard applicants must apply through the CAO (www.cao.ie). Tick whichever of the Special Categories on the Non-Standard section of the Form that applies in your case and give the necessary information.
In respect of examinations already completed, you MUST supply CAO with certificates for all your qualifications which you mention on the Non-Standard section of the Form. Certificates/Transcripts should be supplied to CAO in their original language and should show dates, subjects and results. They should NOT be originals. CAO will not return original documents. A certified English translation is required in the case of qualifications not issued originally in English or Irish, in addition to the certified copies of the documents themselves.
All documents must be sent to the CAO. No documents should be sent to Carlow College. Documents must arrive in CAO within seven days of the submission of the application. Do not fax or email documents to CAO. All documents should be sent by post.
