Carlow College is committed to enabling students to reach their career potential by enhancing their employability skills throughout their time in college. From your first year and all the way through to final year, the careers office can support you in developing your graduate-level employability skills. We aim to achieve this through a wide variety of professional services that support students in their career decision-making. These include:

The Careers Service is delivered by a dedicated Careers Officer, Eleanor Kehoe, and Social Studies Lecturer, John McHugh who are both available at staggered times for one-to-one careers appointments and drop-ins. Online careers information is available to students through Moodle.
Carlow College is connected to potential employers through work placements on its Social Care programmes, and also through Humanities placements.
